Pink is My Signature Color ♥

I'm in my Elle Woods era where I am drawn to pink.

I've had my urban gray era, my black phase, and my regretful denim chapter, but lately I find myself drawn to pink. Not just drawn, but completely absorbed. I'm drawn to pink like Southern frat boys are drawn to blondes with bad judgment. My apartment has strategic splashes of blush and flamingo, and bashful—hat tip to Julia Roberts' Shelby in Steel Magnolias.

My love of pink began early. I had a pink-walled room growing up, and for a while, I even lived in a pink house. John Mellencamp was on to something. That pink house was lovely, and we even had a pink welcome mat. My heavily pink apartment is now my sanctuary. I search HomeGoods, Anthropologie, Amazon, Etsy, and Target looking for the perfect pink item to add a pop of pink joy.

I'm not alone in my devotion. According to color psychology, pink is associated with playfulness, innocence, romance, and calm. So I will not be color shamed for my love of pink—I will embrace it.

If, like me, you love PINK, here are a few perfect items to pink up your life.
